Wayne Standefer is owner and chief pilot of Balloon Adventures by Wayne.  Wayne is a native Texan, a business owner for over 32 years, and has spent most of his life in this area, working, driving or flying overhead!  Wayne's passion for aviation began at an early age and he received his fixed wing private pilot's license at 16!  Since that time Wayne has flown a vast variety of aircraft and achieved commercial ratings in muli-engine, instrument, rotorcraft and lighter than air free balloons.  He has flown thousands of hours in planes, helicopters and balloons and has logged over 3800 hours in aircraft! Wayne has instituted programs and been the chief pilot for national and regional corporate balloon programs, traveling across the U.S. and Texas.  He has won or placed in top rankings in a variety of balloon competitions.  Wayne has carried over 1000 passengers during the internationally renowned Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.  Balloon Adventures by Waynes owns the largest balloons in Texas, 140,000 cubic feet!, enabling us to be able to carry large groups of people.  Wayne has an intricate knowledge of this area and a million stories to tell! Wayne's partner is his wife Debby, who is also a long time balloon pilot.  Debby is a nationally recognized integrated marketing professional and has organized balloon events in several states.  All of the pilots with Balloon Adventures by Wayne are of the same caliber as Wayne.  Experienced, high hour, knowledgeable pilots with perfect safety records, they are also entertaining and fun!!!
